A Case for Local: What’s the difference between Local and Organic

Ingredients: 1 lb of jackfruit 2 tbsp liquid smoke 1 tsp Cumin 1 tbsp garlic 1/2 onion 2 tbsp smoked paprika 3-4 tbsp BBQ sauce 1/4 vegetable broth 1 1/2 tbsp of black truffle salt 1 tsp chicken seasoning 1 tbsp basil 1 tbsp black pepper Directions:  Soak the jackfruit and strain. Allow your pan to heat up for about 5 mins. Add oil allow to sit for 30 seconds. Add your chopped onions sprinkle salt and black pepper sauté for 2-3mins. Then add your young pulled jackfruit pour in the liquid smoked followed by all the spices. Allow to sit for 3-5mins covered. Allow to sweat on low heat to prevent sticking. After the 5 mins are up, pour your BBQ followed by the vegetable broth and allow sit for another 5-7 mins. After the time is up enjoy in between a sesame burger bun or stuffed in some empanada dough and enjoy !
